Overview

Formerly a dilapidated old village house, l'Atelier des Artistes is an unusual venue designed to welcome artists during their creative process, during which they can share their emotions with the public at every encounter.

Sylvie Bourely has lived in Marseille since 1988. Since 2007, she has devoted herself to sculpture, and since 2017, she has participated in exhibitions in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, and exhibited in various galleries in the South of France. The female nudes she creates through modelling, highlight the posture that questions the inner position we each take in relation to the world. The artist's volumes bring us back to the question of our true place in the universe. Could the world as we know it stand upright without its feminine aspect?

By Marina's passion for photography and motor sports has led this Italian-French artist to express herself over the years through offbeat montages of images and unusual objects (mechanical parts, nuts, vinyl, etc.). The precision of her scalpel-cutting and her sense of composition create a harmony of shapes and colors that challenges and reveals a resolutely contemporary art. Since 2010, she has been pursuing her artistic career in the village of Le Castellet, in her studio-gallery as well as at various exhibitions and fairs.
