Exhibition: “The ports of our region and the elixir of lost cities” by Daniel Giacchi and Sandra Devaux.
DANIEL GIACCHI began with watercolours and pastels before moving on to oil painting and knife technique. He tackles music, seascapes and Provençal landscapes. His approach is intuitive and free, guided by his imagination. A colourist at heart, he spreads warm, intense colours across the canvas. Through his works, he expresses his emotions and desires, seeking to breathe life into each painting to convey emotion.
SANDRA DEVAUX, self-taught, discovered the art of clay through pottery classes near her home about ten years ago. She draws her inspiration from the arts of various Eastern countries and ancient times.
