Overview

Trained at La Palette Valettoise, Denise Gay has moved from watercolors to oil painting with a palette knife, and from Mediterranean scenes to spontaneous abstraction. Dolorès Aimé sculpts women and animals in earthenware and raku, exhibiting her work from the South to the Rhône.

Introduced to art at the “La Palette Valettoise” studio, DENISE GAY tried her hand at watercolors and pastels before moving on to oils and palette knives.
From charming scenes of Mediterranean streets and landscapes of Provence, she has arrived at a more spontaneous expression where abstraction allows her to convey all her emotions with the pleasure of absolute creation.

DOLORÈS AIMÉ has always been passionate about painting and sculpture, but her professional life did not allow her much free time. Today, she mainly sculpts women and animals and works with earthenware and raku. She has exhibited in salons and private galleries from the Bouches-du-Rhône to the Alpes-Maritimes and the Rhône.
