During the first lockdown in 2020, the artist, without any blank paper on which to create, discovered a stockpile of old road maps.
She sets out to cover them with stains and searches for faces, human and animal bodies. She then draws on the contours, roads, and cities already printed on them. This process has resulted in several maps created with India ink, ranging from medium to large format.
She also works with sculpture and bronze, as well as engraving.
