To celebrate European Archaeology Days, taking place June 12–14, 2026, the Tour de Sanary invites you on an extraordinary journey through the centuries.
Three archaeological artifacts on special display in the Tower.
For this event, three remarkable artifacts will be on display:
An inkwell dating from the 3rd century B.C.
An amphora from the 2nd century B.C.
A porthole from the frigate Panama, a ship that sailed during the reign of Napoleon III
GUIDED TOURS
Guided tours will be led by archaeologist Charlie Hourcau of the JASON ARCHEO SUB association:
Friday, June 12 at 3:00 PM
Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM
Sunday, June 14 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
These sessions will allow visitors to discover the exhibited artifacts and gain a better understanding of their history and the context of their discovery.
The Sanary Tower will be open exceptionally on Sunday to allow as many people as possible to enjoy this national event dedicated to archaeology.
