The music of Nino Rota is indisociable of Fellini movies. His oeuvre has always seduced jazz musicians whom revisited his compositions.
Le programme de ce concert met surtout, en relief, les morceaux du compositeur de « Amarcord » avec l’univers de la compositrice, arrangeuse, pianiste et chef d’orchestre, Carla Bley. En effet, la musicienne a souvent intégré, lors de ses prestations, des thèmes de Nino Rota. Nous sentons, à travers sa musique et ses arrangements, l’influence du compositeur de Fellini. Ce projet vise à rendre hommage à ces deux immenses compositeurs et à faire, découvrir ou redécouvrir au public, l’oeuvre de ces grands artistes.

Sanary-sur-Mer's Théâtre Galli, originally known as the “Cité de la Jeunesse”, was transformed into a multi-purpose space in the 1960s, hosting sporting events, shows and religious services. In 1977, Abbé Galli donated the space to the commune. Major renovations took place in the 1980s and 1990s, modernizing the facilities. The theater was named in honor of Abbé Georges Galli after his death in 1982. Since then, it has continued to evolve with constant improvements to offer quality shows.
