"The beach of Cousse Bay is a pebble beach. For the year 2025, as part of the 'bathing water quality' approach, it was classified as 'excellent quality'."
It is located in the Beaucours neighborhood.
Just a 5-minute drive from downtown, it is a bit less crowded than the neighboring beaches.
Swimming safety is ensured by certified lifeguards (BNSSA), assisted by first-aid responders (PSE2):
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day from June 1 to August 31, on all beaches.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day from September 1 to 30, on all beaches.
At the municipal council meeting on February 25, 2015, the municipality committed to obtaining certification for the management of bathing water quality in order to guarantee safe bathing conditions for beachgoers.
Since the first audit conducted in July 2015, this certification has been confirmed following an annual audit carried out by an independent inspection agency.
