It is alongside the diving school "Sanary Plongée" that the initiation pool was created, a technical and conceptual work, unique in France.
It is a 26m² pool with 2 changing rooms, 2 showers, 1 foot bath and a 15m² pool with a depth of 4 metres.
For practice, this pool also has many advantages: lit and heated, it can be used over a wide range of hours throughout the year. Its maintenance is the responsibility of the Sanary diving club, which is in charge of running the facility and therefore of supervising baptisms for all publics. It is equipped with a large transparent wall offering a much more reassuring visibility outside.
This diving pool has also been designed so that people with reduced mobility can easily access it. A ramp from the boulevard Courbet to the pool allows free access for wheelchairs, while a lift installed at the edge of the pool facilitates transfers and entry into the water.

Tips
A medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of scuba diving or freediving less than one year old will be required for any entry into training or exploration. Only baptisms are exempted from the medical certificate.
