Overview

Organ concert by the association “Chamades, les Amis de l'Orgue du Temple de Sanary” with Nicolas Loth, Pascal Marsault and students from the TPM Conservatory organ class.

Celebrating its first year of existence, “Chamades, les Amis de l'Orgue du Temple de Sanary” is a non-profit cultural association under the French law of 1901.

Its aim is to build and promote an organ combining 2 instruments.

The new organ, whose construction will be entrusted to an organ builder meeting the most demanding criteria, will enhance the cultural and instrumental heritage it represents, and contribute to the development of organ music in Sanary-sur-Mer and the surrounding region, notably through cultural and educational activities.

The complementarity of the new instrument with that of the St-Nazaire church will ensure that Sanary and the surrounding region have a spectrum of instruments to play a wide range of repertoires for the benefit of the widest possible audience; similarly, the proximity of the Toulon-Provence - Méditerranée Conservatory and its organ class, renowned as one of the most important in France, will further strengthen the high quality musical education provided in the region.
